South Somerset Heritage Collection presents... Yeovils History Walks!
This March and April, the South Somerset Heritage Collection team are inviting you to travel back in time with them as they take you threw the history of the World Wars, Victorian industry, the familes that shaped South Somerset as we know it and the stories behind iconic landmarks.
This walk is based on exploring the Barwick Estate, looking backwards in time to the 1700’s, and peeking into the mystical life of Jack the Treacle eater.
This a great event for those who either love history or people who just want to know more about Yeovil!
Please note: Aimed at adults 18+.
Booking is essential only £8 per adult!
There is three history walks that South Somerset Heritage Collection team are putting on, the dates are as followed.
20th March 10:00-11:10am: Yeovil's War Time History- Meet at Yeovil Library, BA20 1PY
27th March 10:00-12:30pm: Back in time at Ninesprings- Meet at Ninesprings Cafe, BA20 1QZ
17th April 10:00- 12:30pm: Exploring the Barwick Estate- Parking at Yeovil Rugby Club, BA22 9TR
