Events and marketing co-ordinator

Experienced in events delivery and with marketing skills?  Looking for a new challenge?  Passionate about Yeovil?  Are you a motivated, organised, creative, out-of-the-box thinker, with great communication skills and able to manage a busy workload?

Love Yeovil is delivering some exciting community events in town, some of which form part of Super Saturday, Yeovil Christmas Switch On and Lantern Parade.  Love Yeovil would like to expand and develop delivery of these events, add more to the calendar, and manage the content of an exciting new website alongside their established social media channels.  Love Yeovil is comprised of town centre business people with a passion for Yeovil, pulling together to showcase Yeovil and the surrounding area.

This is a great opportunity to work with a team of multi-skilled individuals, liaise with prospective events operators, community groups and local government, to promote a positive image; to help Love Yeovil create more good reasons to visit Yeovil and the Yeovil area.

This post would suit employed and self-employed individuals and is a twelve-month, but a potentially renewable contract.
